After School Classes
Kids run, play, and explore while creating and experimenting with the world around them
-
Location
Our classes are located on a private property at the edge of Oregon City. We have space to roam and much to explore with 150 acres of mixed conifer forests, oak woodland, and farm land. We share the environment with newts, otters, beavers, deer, and other wildlife, as well as a few domesticated animals like chickens and sheep.
-
Outdoor Classroom
All classes take place fully surrounded by nature. We hike to the creek, up to the oak woodlands, or just hang out in our outdoor classroom, a covered deck with flexible seating, so you draw, paint, and create — immersed in nature but out of the rain!
-
Physical Movement & Deep Connection
Kids learn best when they’re physically active and personally connected to what’s in front of them. We keep them moving, collecting, and engaging with the environment while learning about the natural world and scientific method.

Practical Skills and Creative Expression
Each class, or class session, focuses on a particular skill. Examples include sustainable gardening, upcycled fashion, jewelry making, tree and shrub identification, and more.
