Ages 5–9
Young explorers are invited into the forest laboratory to discover the gentle magic of chemistry happening all around us. Throughout the week, campers will mix bubbly “potions,” paint with colors made from plants, and explore how water changes form as it melts, freezes, and disappears into the air. Using natural and food-safe materials, children will slow down, observe carefully, and follow their curiosity as they learn that chemistry is simply the story of change in nature. This camp is playful, creative, and grounded in kindness toward the earth — helping children build confidence and a joyful sense of connection with the natural world as they begin to see themselves as scientists.
Ages 10–12
In this immersive outdoor science camp, older campers step into the role of chemists and caretakers of the earth as they investigate the hidden processes shaping our natural world. Using natural and everyday materials, students will explore chemical reactions, states of matter, natural pigments, acids and bases, and eco-chemistry connected to water, soil, and climate. This camp nurtures curiosity, creativity, and thoughtful stewardship — reminding young scientists that science doesn’t just live in lab coats and textbooks, but in the wind, the soil beneath our feet, and the vibrant rhythms of the natural world.
