Shelter Building (July 29-August 2; 9am-3pm daily)

  • Tree Folk Outdoor Education 20451 South Central Point Road Oregon City, OR, 97045 United States (map)

Ages 5-11, extended care sign ups available between 8am-5pm. This week, we will explore shelter building for humans as well as all sorts of real and magical creatures. Kids will gather supplies such as branches, mosses, and leaves from our surroundings to make a shelter. We’ll think about what we would need if we lived outside, and what we want to use to make ourselves a cozy space for the week. Once we build our own shelter, we will also pick some other shelters to build for creatures like pollinators, frogs, birds, and even fairies!
