This spring break, we're loading up in a 15-passenger van and spending the week exploring some of the wild, creative, beautiful, and wonderfully weird places right here around Portland.
Each morning we'll meet in one convenient location, then head out for a new adventure. We'll explore local natural areas and parks, meet a giant troll hiding in the woods, make art with reclaimed and found materials, learn alongside local artists and educators, and discover places that might be completely new—even to kids who have lived here their whole lives.
As always, Tree Folk days will include plenty of time to play, create, explore, ask questions, get muddy, and follow our curiosity. We'll slow down enough to really notice the places we visit and make connections between nature, art, people, and the city around us.
